Who better to share time with when out on a fishing trip than….

….Man’s best friend.

I don’t know about your dog but any number of the pooches I have had in my lifetime have never had the ability to throw a five weight line let alone handle a level wind reel.

Something about the lack of opposable thumbs, has been a real handicap in making our faithful canine companions the perfect fishing partner.

Nonetheless, many a fishing trip has been made with either my dog or a bi-ped friends dog along for the experience. For me, dogs have always added to almost any outdoor experience, whether it be hiking, camping,bird hunting,mountain biking,or skiing.

Fishing, on the other hand is somewhat a different story.

In my mind, I have always dreamed of having that perfect pooch, the one that walks calmly by your side, curls up and takes a nap while you endlessly cast

Who Is Jesus Christ For Us Today? A Response

I found Dr. Cone’s book to be stimulating reading. His strong feelings were evident and I applaud his courage to criticize those theologians who are insensitive and indifferent to the subjectivity of Black Theology.

Overall, I agree with most of Cone’s theology. We do part company however at certain intersections.

I am not convinced that Cone’s unilateral approach is necessarily a good one. I sense something important is missing though I admit I am not at all sure what it is. But certainly, his universalism is so overshadowed with particularity that the casual reader may hastily assume that Cone’s theology does not include a universal view.

I realize that Dr. Cone’s approach to theology is from a black perspective. I can surely identify with that. Yet, I question if his identifying Jesus as black is not tantamount to making Jesus in “our image.” He stated that he was not referring so much to

Some people think training Pit Bull puppies is hard. I beg to differ. Training any puppy can be hard or easy. How you approach your training and handling of the puppy will make a world of difference.

Training Tip #1 – Always keep an eye on your puppy. If you supervise your puppy he or she can’t use the bathroom in the house, they can’t chew things up, and you can be there to take them out when they need to go.

If you can not supervise your puppy investing in a quality dog kennel is suggested.

Training Tip #2 – Let your puppy drag a leash. Buy a 5-6 foot nylon web leash and let your puppy drag it around. This way you can stand on the leash to keep your puppy around you. Tether the puppy to a chair or door so you can supervise them while you are busy.
