5 Tips to Preschoolers Bedrooms, on a Budget

by E-NewsCast Team
December 31st, 2009

Decorating on a budget can always be a challenge, but nowhere do our hearts yearn to provide a beautiful room as much as when it comes to our little ones. Luckily, there are some great ideas you can do today, to punch up your preschoolers room, and keep the costs as little as they are!

1.Paint the room a wonderful, dreamy color. Soothing pool blues, apple greens, and soft yellows are great for a young ones restful spot. Make the colors too bright, and you will affect their ability to rest well as the colors will be too stimulating. Make them too pale pastel, and young ones have a hard time even registering them as colors! You can pick up a gallon of quality paint from your discount store for less than $10, which should cover the average bedroom, and make a quick and dramatic change in just a couple

Importance of Dietary Fibre

by E-NewsCast Team
December 31st, 2009

Fibre forms the skeletal system of plants. Without it no plant or tree would be able to stand upright. Dietary fibre, the roughage of yesteryears, consists of those parts of the plant foods that cannot be digested by enzymes or other digestive secretions in the ailmentary canal.

Dietary fibre plays an important role in the maintenance of health and prevention of diseases.

There is sufficient evidence to suggest that an artificial depletion of fibre as in case of refined cereals and sugar has over the last 100 years contributed to several degenerative diseases.

Recent studies in this area indicate that sufficient intake of fibre-rich diet may help prevent obesity, colon cancer, heart disease, gallstones, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulosis and diabetic conditions.

Studies have also established that dietary fibre is a collection of elements with a variety of functions rather than a single substance with single function as was assumed earlier. This new insight into

Buying The Dream

by E-NewsCast Team
December 31st, 2009

This is a very informative website – NO NONSENSE, NO RUBBISH, it is written and attested to by normal everyday people like you, who have achieved their goal to move to Florida, who are still living here and who have become successful business and home owners. The authors have been here nearly 10 years and have been through the process of obtaining visas, visa renewals, changes in Department of State regulations and Homeland Security issues.

We have done our utmost to highlight some of the pitfalls to be avoided AT ALL COSTS -which unfortunately, I have to say, happen all too often. What we have attempted to achieve, through this site is the format and guidance to get started and as much information as is feasibly possible. Like everything in life, you get what you pay for, but in this case you get value for money and more importantly

Easy Gulf Coast Grouper Fishing – Part I

by E-NewsCast Team
December 31st, 2009

The gulf coast of Florida offers some of the best grouper fishing around. The Gulf has fairly calm water most of the year (except for our new 11 month recent hurricane season). The gear is pretty simple: a fairly stout rod, I say fairly stout because you don’t want your rod too stiff because this will effect the action it has on the bait…more on this later. I use 40lb line on the reel with a 100lb shock leader, and about an 8/0 hook. I like to use live bait for grouper fishing but some prefer jigs, spoons, and even heavy grade trolling lures. After gear, guests, and boat are ready we need to catch some bait. I like to use the “junk” fish that you catch when bottom fishing with smaller rigs. Blue runners, sand perch, lizard fish, etc… Grouper are not real picky eaters …

Grier’s Almanac: 200 Years of Service

by E-NewsCast Team
December 31st, 2009

One of my favorite “reads” are almanacs. From the formerly named Information Please almanac to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, these handy paperback books contain a wealth of information on virtually any subject, particularly the more generalized tomes such as Information Please. In November 2005, I visited my locally owned drugstore and found that they had free copies of Grier’s Almanac available for customers. Similar in design to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, I took a copy home with me.Although not peppered with stories such as can be found in the Old Farmer’s Almanac, Grier’s contains the usual “zodiac” information which farmers in time’s past would rely on to help them determine when to plant. In addition, you can find information on daily weather predictions, a fishing calendar, an exhaustive list of holidays for the year, and interesting chronological information on events that happened on …

Impotence Predicts Heart Attacks

by E-NewsCast Team
December 31st, 2009

It’s common for men over 60 to have difficulty maintaining erections. Two studies, one from Italy and one from the US, show that men who are impotent before that age are at significantly increased risk for heart attacks (JAMA, December 21, 2005; Journal of the American College of Cardiology, October 18, 2005.)

The most common causes of impotence are arteriosclerosis and diabetes. Less common causes include low levels of the male hormone, testosterone, or a brain tumor. So every man who is impotent before age 60 should check with his doctor and get blood tests for arteriosclerosis and diabetes. The tests should include cholesterol, homocysteine, Lipoprotein A, C-reactive protein and HBA1C. They also should get blood tests for testosterone and prolactin, the test for a brain tumor.

Since most impotent men will have arteriosclerosis or diabetes, they may need to take appropriate medications, but they certainly should be
