A door knob is a kind of handle used for closing and opening a door. It is part of home security and is one of the most important devices among the door hardware products. Hard water causes an array of problems in home and industrial settings. Soap doesn’t lather or rinse well, clothing, skin, and hair feel stiff or sticky after washing, and dishes appear dirty after having been run through the dishwasher. Worst of all, plumbing can become clogged when scale builds up. All of this is caused by minerals in the water. The most common minerals that cause water hardness are magnesium and calcium.

Hard water, water with a high mineral content, is softened by flushing the water through a tank that contains negatively charged plastic beads. Typically, these beads are bonded with a salt, whose components have a weaker hydrogen bond than that of calcium or magnesium. I hate rules. We’ve all heard it before. “Rules are made to be broken”. This is definitely true when it comes to the ‘rules’ of décor. Who comes up with these ‘rules’ anyway? And what do they mean to us?

Not that long ago we were all being told to never put pink with red or green with blue. The fact is that combinations such as these are the basis of some of the most beautiful color palettes being used by very talented designers around the world. These silly ‘rules’ are applied to all sorts of things in our lives by ‘experts’ in fashion and interior design and they’re taken as gospel by many people. Though, these days it does seem that we follow these ‘rules’ less rigidly than in previous generations.
